This past spring we experienced another fantastic flower season. Odd, given we are in the midst of a five-year drought. I'm somewhat delayed in posting these pictures, but have finally created a Flickr account to share them with you. This image previews many more flowers from the Sonoran desert.

I love adventures, stories, pictures, food, music and, most of all, my family. Maybe you've read about my teenager. He's in college now. His room no longer smells like socks.
My current project is a book titled THE BLACK PIT about my grandfather and the men who died on the USAT Dorchester during the Battle of the Atlantic. Heroism lives through the actions of good people in the dark days of WWII, just as it lives in the dark days of today. Oh wow, this picture is amazing!
The flower is gorgeous! Loved the photos on Flickr too. My friend Louise told me about the flowers in Sonoron Spring and I see what she means!
